Wow. I just signed online and saw this news clip that Steve Irwin - otherwise known as "The Crocodile Hunter" was killed in a freakish accident that involved a stingtray. At 44 he leaves behind his wife and an 8 year old daughter and a 3 year old son. Very sad. I'm sure he went out doing what he loved which is a good thing, but so early, and via a freak accident. I didn't know him of course but who hasn't been entertained by his whacky adventures on TV and probably learned something about animals and conservation. I also feel bad for him and his family because it will only be a matter of time that the late night talkshow hosts will be cracking jokes about him.
