Tom Cryer, a seasoned attorney of 30 years and a huge Ron Paul supporter, is going up against the IRS over the income tax. He's being accused of tax evasion & willful failure to file.I'm really wishing Tom Cryer good luck and I'll have to try to remember to follow up on this post. Man, I wish I lived near the courthouse, I would love to sit in on this one. I hope it ends up on youtube somehow.

His trial date was originally set for early April but was postponed because the IRS knows that Tom's gonna win and they sure didn't want the not guilty verdict to come out before tax day.
His trial is now set for Monday, July 9th in Shreveport, LA (300 Fannin St, Shreveport, Louisiana 71101) If you're close, please come out to watch history in the making. The trial will last around 4 - 5 days; Let's fill the courtroom as well as pack outside for the media.

woah, easy there all your Ron Paul fans :) I do appreciate the links, but lets try to keep the comments short.
There are three items that concern me about Ron Paul...1) He's a republican (I don't trust em), but I will say that Ron does not sound like any other Republican that I've ever heard, so I'm listening. 2) His pro-life stand. 3) There was a small blurb on his website that says "Pro-family" - which I think is politician talk for "anti-gay".
But again, If I find a candidate that I can agree on most issues with I would cast my vote for them.

Ron Paul believes that the federal government has nothing to do with the homosexual issue because the Constitution gives them no authority to do anything about it. If Ron Paul is a Republican, then he is the only one. Ron Paul is a constitutionalist who happens to be elected as a Republican. He ran as a Presidential candidate for the Libertarian Party a while ago and if he gets elected Ed Brown supporters won't have to go to court to not file taxes because there will not be an IRS to come after them.
