glow in the dark mushrooms
Only in Japan...
I found this article on a blog via the delicious website. What an amazing thing nature can be. I don't know why, but bioluminescence fascinates me. I remember when camping in Virginia I found some tree bark that was glowing! I thought maybe I'd had one too many beer's (back when I drank beer ;) But upon close inspection, and confirmation from others, these pieces of tree bark were in fact glowing. I remember looking it up as to why, but it's been so long that I forgot.
Anyway, read this short article and check out the amazing photo. It makes you wonder how many other plants could give off light.
